This includes items such as drywall, lumber, bathtubs, sinks, cabinets, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, house siding, concrete, windows, doors, insulation, piping etc. Organic material is classified as anything that grows such as tree stumps, tree branches, leaves, grass clippings, vines etc. General Trash is classified as clothes, furniture, appliances, food trash, papers. Basically, anything that people collect over the years. What we cannot dispose of: Tires, liquids, paint, hazardous chemicals, gasoline, oils, batteries, refrigeration and air conditioning units, asbestos, items containing lead or lead paint, railroad ties. All loads are subject to inspection upon dumping at the landfill. We reserve the right to reject unacceptable material and loads upon inspection. Front load containers can be serviced several times per week, weekly or bi-weekly, whatever best meets your needs. Permanent service set up requires a one-year service agreement. Pricing is based on the size of container needed as well as the frequency of service. Front load service differs from roll-off service in that it is not “on call”. Through this program, residents receive sturdy garbage carts for trash and recycling which can be wheeled to the curb. Residents will receive postcards and brochures regarding the program prior to receiving new carts. Normally scheduled pick-up dates will not be affected. Prohibited vehicles are: large trailers, cargo vans, stake body vehicles, dump trucks, commercial vehicles or those with truck plates, those which are enclosed or have ladder racks, pick-up trucks with built-up side boards, and trucks with additional trailers attempting to dump as one load.
